Somewhere under the ice is the Rocky River...somewhere...These photos are in my computer and they needed to come out! It's getting crowded in there, so here's some more of our Sunday walk in Rocky River Reservation. (By the way we didn't walk in the river.)

No, no, no...he didn't really beat me with that stick(Doodles tried though.)He is building a nest in an evergreen right over the trail.
We saw him there last year also, but when the leaves come out on the surrounding trees, he disappears.

When we first spotted this one skulking in the shrubs,we thought he was a White-throated Sparrow. But he looked so dark!
Turns out he's a Swamp Sparrow waiting for the swamp to thaw.
