Birdin' In The Rain, Just Birdin' In The Rain!

Even the Pine Warbly thing was singin' in the rain!

What a glorious feelin' I'm birdin' again!
I'm laughing at clouds so dark up above
There's warblys in my heart and I'm ready for a dove
Let the stormy clouds chase everyone from the fens
Come on with the rain, I've a rain cover on my lens
I walk down the boardwalk
With a happy little squawk
Just birdin',
And singin' in the rain!

Don't aim up for too long when it's raining!

Coots don't care...

More rain=more mud for the Robin's nest!

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher remind me of Groucho Marx for some odd reason...

PHEW! If you flew this far, you'd smell a little tangy too!

The Hermit Thrush after airing out a little...

A Northern Harrier trying to scare up a little lunch in the marsh.

Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
Crazy eye expert.

Speaking of Singin' in the Rain!

Veery well hidden, eh?

White-throated Sparrow double booty shot...
You can only find this stuff on Birds From Behind!
Luckily.

Speaking of only here...why won't Winter Wrens sit still for me?!

Toodles from Loopy and The Doodles!

  1. I am glad to see some light-hearted comments about rain. Because where I live in central Illinois it's been raining...and raining...and raining...and right at this exact moment? Raining! Seriously, it is enough to drive a person to insanity! But your photos and comments did lighten the mood for a moment. Now, if it would just stop raining!

  6. Good to hear you singing again!

We are in dire need of rain over here otherwise there will be severe shortages for everyone including the wildlife.
